Catherine Verlaguet
The Festival des Nuits de l'Enclave in Valréas brings to life a territory around writing all year round. The residency with Catherine Verlaguet took place from December 2012 to March 2013.
Born in 1977 in Chinon, Catherine Verlaguet trained at the Conservatoire de Toulouse and then in Marseille and at the University of Aix-en-Provence and Nanterre. First an actress, then a director. Autrice, she has always been and dedicates herself exclusively to it today, trying with happiness to all styles of writing: novels, short-film scripts, radio thrillers, musicals, stage adaptations, plays...which she sometimes writes with several hands.
Since 2010, his theatre is also aimed at children: L'Oeuf et la Poule (2011), Timide (2012), Les Vilains Petits (2013)... She has also adapted the novel Oh, boy! by Marie-Aude Murail for a creation that received the Molière du spectacle jeune public 2010.
Embers was written in writing residence in Valréas, thanks to the festival of Nuits de l'Enclave and the support of the Drac Provence-Alpes-Côtes d'Azur.
