Tip sheets: maintain, rehabilitate, renovate or build in old centres
To preserve the heritage and harmony of the old centres, the Drac Occitanie has initiated a reflection in collaboration with all the 13 Departmental Units of Architecture and Heritage (Udap) and Councils of Architecture, Urban Planning and Environment (CAUE) from the region to produce “Old Centre” tip sheets
These sheets are a tool for advice and pedagogy intended mainly for the general public and all the actors of the living environment. They serve as a guide for interventions in old centres to maintain, rehabilitate, renovate or build.
Each tip sheet focuses on a specific element of architecture and landscape: facades, roofs, windows, shutters, doors, and also hardware, or thermal comfort.
