Artistic teaching in high school - Theatre - Dance - Circus - Cinema-audiovisual
The Drac Occitanie and the rectors of the academies of Montpellier and Toulouse are partners in the implementation of specialized artistic teachings.
Specialty and optional arts education are part of the objectives of the Drac’s arts and cultural education policy as well as the educational policy of both academies. The Drac implements, through classes of arts and cultural education, a policy aimed at territorial equity and the democratization of culture by prioritizing high schools established in rural areas, in political districts of the city or in urban suburbs. The National Education, through the map of training, aims at equal access of all high school students to artistic teachings.
