European Night of Museums
Inaugurated in 2005, the European Night of Museums is mobilizing an increasing number of museums, both in the national territory and in Europe. Several thousand museums offer concerts, shows, exhibitions or cultural events to a larger audience every year.
For one night, between sunset and 1 am, the public has the opportunity to discover in an unusual, festive and playful way the riches and diversity of France’s museums.

Who can take part in the European Night of Museums?
The European Night of Museums is open to all museums in France and European museums. The places participating in the European Night of Museums are encouraged, for the occasion, to offer original, night and free animations.
