On Wednesday, November 30, the Culture - Justice regional seminar was held on the Toulouse site of the Drac Occitanie, in the presence of actors from the world of culture, the services of the judicial protection of youth and prison services.
More than 100 people attended and worked from the new tripartite agreement (Drac/DIPRJJ/ DISP) Culture - Justice Occitanie including Sylvie Vella, inter-regional director of services of PJJ Sud, Charlotte Grondin, Culture - Justice for the Ministry of Culture, Stéphane Gely, Interregional Director of Prison Services of Toulouse, Michel Roussel, Regional Director of Cultural Affairs Occitanie and Pascal Andurand, Regional Referent Culture – Justice à la Drac.
Two priorities of the convention, signed in 2021, have been the subject of workshops where "understand" and "do" have put in synergy the competences of each one for the benefit of new projects in direction of people under the control of justice.
- The fight against illiteracy;
- Media education and animated images, fighting false news and critical thinking.
With the participation of the two popular education federations in charge of the animation component of the Culture - Justice mission, each for a part of the Occitanie region:
- Federation Léo Lagrange Sud, Jean Denis Boyer, for the Western part;
- CEMEA, Solène Gastineau, for the Oriental part.
