Live Entertainment Contractor Declaration
The legal regime for performing arts contractors will change as of October 1, 2019.
The declaration of activity of live entertainment contractor must be made exclusively online on the site https://mesdemarches.culture.gouv.fr.
October 1, 2019 Reform
- the license is transformed by a declarative device
- Declarations (live entertainment contractor and declarations prior to the arrival in France of foreign producers) are 100% paperless
- the activity of a live entertainment contractor on an ancillary basis, up to 6 performances is no longer subject to declaration with the DRACS: it is necessary to contact the GUSO directly (single window for the occasional show): www.guso.fr
Since October 1, 2019, the legal regime for carrying out the activity of live entertainment entrepreneur is subject to the obligation to report the activity online, for entrepreneurs established in France, and to the obligation to provide information online, for entrepreneurs established outside France.
The objectives of the procedure are identical: the verification of respect for social law, labour law, intellectual property law and the safety of performing venues.
The procedures are now completely paperless (no sending of paper files).
All of these approaches are accessible through a teleservice, accessed through the following links:
