2021 Support for Bookstore Modernization as part of the Book Recovery Plan

Framework
The purpose of the aid for the modernization of bookshops is to support the consolidation and development of bookshops located in France.
In particular, it aims to support:
- The execution of works (including fees and education) renovation ;
- Acquisition of furniture, equipment, IT equipment and tools linked to the bookshop activity thanks to a rate of up to 70%.
Implemented in the context of the crisis caused by the fight against the Covid-The purpose of this grant is to enable bookshops to accelerate their investment in modernisation in order to improve their conditions for receiving visitors but also to generate productivity gains.
Criteria:
Two scenarios are presented to you:
1er case: You file your file in DRAC if
- you have an annual sales turnover of less than €150 K excluding tax
OR
- Regardless of your turnover, your project is between €5k and €20k before tax
2th case: You submit your file to CNL if
- you have a turnover of more than €150K
AND
- you have a project with a total amount before tax of more than €20 k
Legal persons who fulfil the following cumulative conditions are eligible for this aid:
- Be a privately owned commercial company or a personal business
- be managed in direct operation and not subject to a franchise covering bookshop activity
- operate an establishment(s) open year-round and accessible to all audiences
- be an independent bookstore
- be a general bookstore or a bookstore specialising in arts, comics, youth, literature, religion, humanities and social sciences, science and technology, and/or travel;
- have at least one year of activity for the bookshop in question
Build Case:
The application file for assistance in modernizing libraries to be filed in DRAC must include the following documents:
DEER pre-filled and signed (pages 1, 2, 7 and 8 only)
- DEER pre-filled and signed (pages 1, 2, 7 and 8 only)
- Completed and signed application form
- The quote(s) corresponding to the project(s)
- An RCS (Kbis) extract dated less than three months ago for companies
- RIB
- SIRET
- The audited accounts for the last closed accounting year
