The 23rd edition of the Journées cinématographiques on the theme of "Regards satellites", invites until February 11 the spectators in four cinemas of the Seine-Saint-Denis. The program includes more than 50 films, classic, unpublished or to discover in preview. Ken Loach, the British director at the two Palmes d'or, guest of honour at the Journées soutenues par la DRAC Île-de-France, is expected at the L'Écran cinema on Tuesday, February 7.

 

All the beauty and blood shed by Laura Poitras, documentary in theatres on March 15, 2023, is presented at the opening of an exceptional preview, in the presence of American director, documentary filmmaker, journalist and photographer. Drop of gold by Clément Cogitore, also presented as a preview and as a venue on March 1, 2023, closes the great Dionysian event.

Tribute, retrospective, discovery, white cards, window on Brazil, meeting, preview, young audience are the key elements of these Film Days subtitled Regards Satellites.

Four cinemas of the Seine-Saint-Denis - the cinema the Screen (Saint-Denis), The Studio (Aubervilliers), The Star (La Courneuve), Espace 1789 (Saint-Ouen) – propose to open our eyes wide and shake our habits of spectators by offering a walk in rare territories, to the encounter of cinematography that give pride of place to independent and "satellite" views of the dominant cinema.
