On 8, 9 and 10 November 2022, the autumn seminar of the National Association of Art Colleges (ANdÉA) was held in Valenciennes and Tourcoing.  Each year, this seminar brings together the community of art and design schools for different times of sharing, exchanges and foresight.

This year, the Hauts-de-France region hosted, through POLARIS - Réseau magnétique des écoles d'arts publiques des Hauts-de-France, the ANdÉA autumn seminar entitled «Le rayon vert».

Students, teachers, administrative and technical staff but also directions and presidencies of institutions, elected representatives of local authorities, partners and departments of the Ministry of Culture met for three days for meetings, workshops and visits to institutions and exhibitions.

This seminar was an opportunity to discuss the main issues of this sector: professionalization, ecological transition, reception of students and artists in exile, accessibility of training, fight against discrimination, financial sustainability of institutions, reinvention of international mobility…

The event took place in the public art, plastic arts and design schools of Valenciennes and Tourcoing. These schools belong to the national network of schools which the Ministry supports financially and on which it exercises pedagogical supervision because they award national diplomas under the Ministry of Culture.
