Digital reference libraries
Since 2010, the Digital Reference Library Programme has enabled the State to encourage large local authorities to set up high-level digital libraries. The goal is to make quality digital collections and services available to the public, while diversifying audiences and modernizing libraries...
In the Grand Est region, the libraries of the Sillon Lorrain (Thionville, Metz, Nancy, Epinal) and the Troyes Champagne Métropole media library are labelled Reference Digital Libraries.
Troyes Champagne Métropole Media Library
The virtual library of Clairvaux, classified Memory of the World by UNESCO, reconstructs the medieval library of Clairvaux from the end of the XVe century (1472), preserved in its entirety in the Troyes Champagne Métropole media library (1021 of 1121 manuscripts).

The connected library of the Sillon Lorrain
The goal is to make large parts of Lorraine’s literary, scientific and documentary heritage available to connected readers in 2017 from four libraries (Thionville, Metz, Nancy and Epinal).
Project supported by the Sillon Lorrain and co-financed by the State under the National Fund for Spatial Planning and Development (FNADT), by the Grand Est Region, and by the European Union under the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), under the Lorrain Operational Programme 2014-2020.
