2023 Regional Scientific Commission (CSR) Calendar: CSR Acquisition 1st session: Thursday 30 March, deadline for submission of applications: Monday 27 February 2nd session: Tuesday 12 September, deadline for submission of applications: Friday 11 August CSR Restoration 1st session: Thursday 23 March, deadline for submission of applications: Friday 17 February Pre-Commission: Thursday 6 July 2023, 2nd plenary session: Thursday 14 September, deadline for submission of applications: Friday 2 June (Deadline for RDCA files: 1 month prior to SRB for completeness check and zipping to members) Depending on health circumstances, it may be necessary to replace plenary sessions with videoconferences. In accordance with Title IV of the Heritage Code, the permanent delegation of the CSR is reserved for emergency cases (auction, danger on collection).
The DRAC contributes to the implementation of the guidelines of the Ministry of Culture in favour of "museums of France" (law of 4 January 2002 relating to museums of France).
Museums in France, most often managed by local authorities or associations, are placed under the technical supervision of the State, and can therefore benefit from scientific monitoring and financial assistance.
Within the DRAC, the Museum Advisor is responsible for monitoring the actions of valorization and dissemination (exhibitions, publications), conservation and enrichment of collections.
Assistance may also be granted for preliminary studies and for work carried out in connection with the construction or museographic development of establishments.

Doctechnical and practical documentation
The French Museum Service and DICOM have redesigned the section on museums of France on the website of the ministry. Organized in three parts, the section highlights key public policies - free permanent collections for under 26 years, access to collections on display or in reserve, the news of museums...- and allows to better know the appellation "Musée de France". The professional space is also enriched to federate the best practices of museum professionals.
