Local media
Local social media are defined as either press publications or online press services, other electronic communication services to the public, with on-line content of general interest that is renewed regularly and is the subject of journalistic treatment, provided that they are primarily aimed at local audiences, particularly in priority areas of city policy or areas of rural regeneration. The Fund’s aid is intended for structures primarily publishing a local social information medium, or for non-profit organisations recognised as being in the public interest which publish such a medium on an ancillary basis. They are paid in the light of the media’s editorial offer and the characteristics of its publishing structure, assessed against the criteria set by the decree.
