Reading nights
A 6th edition, from January 20 to 23, 2022, with the theme: "Love always! Love again!"
Reading together, reading in the evening, in pajamas, in music, in sign language... This is the invitation that the Reading nights, an event proposed by the Ministry of Culture in collaboration with the actors of book and reading.
The next Reading nights, organized for the first time by the National Book Centre on the proposal of the Ministry of Culture, will hold January 20-23, 2022, during four evenings, with a highlight on Saturday, January 22.
These Reading nights are more necessary than ever to go to the conquest of new readers and to reaffirm, with everyone, the essential place of book and reading in our lives, as the President of the Republic wished by declaring the reading “great national cause”.
From Thursday 20 to Sunday 23 January 2022, the public will be invited to gather for thousands of physical and digital events, around the theme of love that embraces the injunction of Victor Hugo: "Love always! Love again!".
Libraries, media libraries, bookstores, but also museums, theatres, schools and universities, prison and medical-social structures, the network of French cultural institutions and French-language bookstores abroad, will be invited to honor, during four evenings, the pleasure of reading and sharing love books and books about love!

Early December : putting the program card online
Dec 10 : recommended deadline for registration and optimal visibility in the communication campaign
