Excavation sites open to volunteers
The list of archaeological sites open to volunteers in the national territory is established by the Archaeological Sub-Directorate (SDA) in collaboration with the regional archaeological services.
Participating in excavation sites is probably the best way to learn about archaeology. This allows us to understand the reality of field work and learn the techniques of searching, recording and processing the data collected.
These archaeological sites are:
- open to volunteers
- all audiences but in some cases priority is given to students
- accessible to persons of full age, however, under certain conditions to persons at least 16 years of age
- organised only on national territory.
