The Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs (DRAC) of the Pays de la Loire organizes regional archaeological days every year.
This seminar allows archaeologists to make their profession known and to sensitize the public to the rich French archaeological heritage. During these two days, this event highlights the recent discoveries presented by professionals and volunteers of archaeology The papers will be devoted to the news of archaeological research in the Pays de la Loire.
For this 15th edition, will be presented the results of the collective research project on the Roman enclosure of Le Mans, a communication on human occupations on the banks of the Erdre or a presentation of the archaeological study on the northern front of the Château d'Angers.
These days are an opportunity for an open meeting between all actors of regional archaeology, including those responsible for spatial planning.
