Develop creation
Observer and actor of the artistic vitality of its region, the DRAC provides the necessary advice, information and relays to artists established in the Pays de la Loire to facilitate their working conditions and their professional integration. It aims to encourage the greatest diversity of forms of expression and to support the Ligian artistic scene.
The visual arts department contributes to the production of the works through two support mechanisms:
- individual support for creation, intended for the development of artistic research, which aims to facilitate the realization of a project or artistic approach.
- the allowance for the installation of workshops and the purchase of equipment, meeting the material needs of artists in terms of equipment, which is allocated in order to build or set up a workshop or to acquire the equipment essential for an artistic activity.
These aids may be supplemented by the Centre National des Arts Plastiques (CNAP): support for research or artistic production, exceptional allocation, support for print or digital publishing.
