Resource Centre for Arts and Cultural Education (PREAC) Performing Arts - Pays de la Loire

The core of its activity consists in ensuring the dissemination of information on issues of arts and cultural education throughout life. To this end, it is addressed to various actors (cultural organizations, elected officials, artists, trainers, medico-social animators) with a view to enhancing existing mechanisms and initiating new dynamics. Promoting the sharing of resources and experiences is one of the main projects. It accompanies the collective of youth mediators with the organization of two trainings per year, as well as other networks of reflection and action around issues of arts and cultural education (training at the PEAC at the ESPE, perspectives of the Belle saison, new orientations of the twinning...).

One of PREAC’s main missions: to be a resource centre on training issues. It identifies the specific and cross-cutting needs of arts and cultural education stakeholders in the region. It accompanies their efforts and develops a training offer in relation to the problems of the territory.

Since December 2016, a training cycle around the place of dance in the paths of artistic and cultural education is proposed, in partnership with the collective of mediators, Music and Dance in Loire-Atlantique, Mayenne Culture, the cultural services of the departments of Maine-et-Loire, Sarthe and Vendée and the DAAC of the Rectorate of Nantes.
