The report produced by pilot-photographer Michel Bernard between 1999 and 2001, gathering more than 700 aerial views of protected churches of Charente-Maritime, joins the Open Heritage Platform (POP).


This photo campaign allows us to understand the transformations of the villages of Charente-Maritime as well as the development of the surroundings of these protected buildings.

It was funded by the Regional Conservation of Historic Monuments (CRMH) – Poitiers site – of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs (DRAC) and the Conseil d'architecture, d'urbanisme et de l'environnement (CAUE) of Charente-Maritime.
