Equality and diversity
The DRAC Île-de-France is committed to promoting occupational equality between women and men and the fight against all forms of discrimination, notably through the dual AFNOR "equality-diversity" label renewed in 2022 for four years.
Since 2017, the DRAC has been committed to equality and diversity
Holder of the dual ALLIANCE Diversity and Equality label, issued by AFNOR Certification, DRAC Île-de-France has established an action plan covering the period 2017-2021, renewed for the period 2021-2025. This action plan takes into account the issues of occupational equality between women and men and proposes to combat gender stereotypes and sexual and gender-based violence and all other forms of discrimination, whether they concern disability, sexuality, age or origin.
These commitments concern both DRAC staff, who are trained and aware of these issues, recruitment policies within the administration, but also the policies implemented in the Paris region, the objective being to promote women’s access to positions of responsibility, to aim for a better representation of women in the arts and culture, in particular by rebalancing aid to them, establish specific clauses in public procurement and promote diversity in all its forms and the fight against discrimination recognized by law.
This action plan is part of the overall approach taken by the Ministry of Culture, and in particular within the framework of the equality roadmap of the Minister of Culture.
Where are we at?
On the occasion of International Women’s Day on 8 March 2023, the DRAC gathered in a document the main actions it carries out internally and in the policies it implements on the territory of Ile-de-France, to reduce inequalities between women and men.
