Activity reports
The 2022 activity report provides an overview of DRAC Île-de-France’s actions. The DRAC was present throughout the year, alongside actors from the various artistic, cultural and heritage sectors. It mobilized its many expertise to prepare for the arrival of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024. Heritage, creation, cultural economy, transmission: the DRAC carries essential actions for the daily life of the Franciliens.
A WORD FROM THE DIRECTOR
Throughout 2022, culture has shown its strong resilience and resilience, following a health crisis of unprecedented scale.
The DRAC was organized to support cultural professionals, by listening to them but also by mobilizing the necessary means to meet the great challenges of the time, even more crucial after the outbreak of the war at the gates of Europe. It was able to count on a strong increase in its budget, with nearly 8 million euros more than in 2021, including 5 million euros under the recovery plan, an increase equivalent to that we had already benefited from in 2021. This assistance made it possible to respond to emergencies and with the help of the partner communities kept the cultural ecosystem of the Paris region afloat.
Mobilized on all fronts, to mitigate the effects of these crises, think after and engage new dynamics, such as those for the ecological transition, or those related to the arrival of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2024, The teams of the DRAC have opened new fields of exploration, particularly in the field of cultural tourism, of which we know the essential stakes for the regional territory.
May all DRAC agents be thanked for their commitment and dedication to serving the cultural life of the Ile-de-France territories.
