2022 ended with the signing of 30 protection orders: 17 inscriptions for historic monuments, 9 classifications for historic monuments, 2 rankings for movable historical ensembles and 2 rankings for movable ensembles encumbered by a maintenance easement in the premises. All eras and all types of objects have been recognized by these protective measures.
These protective decrees have made it possible to distinguish between liturgical ornaments, little known part of the heritage, as well as paintings, old or modern, recognized or prestigious signatures of Pierre Mignard and Hubert Robert or more confidential like that of Sébastien Norblin. Similarly, the protection of the country, railway and river heritage testifies to all the diversity of the Ile-de-France heritage. Note also the protection of an embroidered banner linked to the national history, offered to the town of Limay by the descendants of the resistance. Another highlight this year is the continued protection of objects related to the history of the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris. And also, the agreement of an institution – the Palais de la Porte Dorée – and of a private owner in order to encumber with a maintenance easement in the premises, the furniture of which they are the curators or the owners.
