In view of the general increase in energy costs, the State has introduced a number of cross-cutting aids (tariff shield, guaranteed prices, electricity shock absorber) which can also benefit the cultural sector. In addition to these measures, exceptional aid is allocated to cultural structures with the most difficulties. The scheme, announced by Rima Abdul Malak, Minister of Culture, already benefits 21 cultural places in Paris.

In accordance with the commitments made at the end of last year, the State is providing exceptional aid for cultural sites with a Ministry of Culture label that are most vulnerable to rising energy costs, equivalent on average to 30 % of the additional costs identified and which may be added to the transversal aids to which cultural sites may be eligible.
