Graphic charter of the State in the regions
The Brand State block is evolving in response to the need to harmonize the presentation of government action. The rules of use are unchanged.
The Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs (Drac) works under the authority of the regional prefect, also in the case of a State subsidy (DRAC) or an action in partnership with the Drac, only the regional prefect’s logo must appear on the communication materials (poster, invitation...).
The State logo must be positioned to the left, followed, where appropriate, by the logos of the other institutional partners as follows, in descending order: regional council, departmental council, agglomeration community, community of communes, commune.
The rule is to have only one Marianne. Therefore it is not consistent to align logos of different ministries, or to align the prefect’s logo with that of the Ministry of Culture.
Furthermore, the logo with the mention «Direction régionale des affaires culturelles» cannot be used by the partner structures.
Exceptions:
- if Europe is a partner, the Europe logo must be positioned in the partner zone, in the band at the bottom of the marie-louise, to the right of the state logo.
- If the structure is supported by several departments, only the government logo should appear.
- the Ministry of Culture logo will appear on an invitation card only in the case of a ministerial presence.
- the logo of the Ministry of Culture may also be used when the action is financed by central appropriations.
The logos of the other partners (association, public or private companies) will be positioned to the right of the logos of the institutional partners or on another line below . The same applies to the logos of labels such as "Musée de France".
