Cinema and audiovisual in Hauts-de-France
In conjunction with the Centre national du cinéma et de l'image animée (CNC), and in partnership with local authorities, the Hauts-de-France Regional Directorate for Cultural Affairs is developing a territory-wide film and multimedia policy.
For whom?
For high school students (in first and final classes of literary series).
When?
Five hours per week throughout the school year.
Where?
In nine high schools in the Hauts-de-France region.
With whom?
Academy of Lille - Rectorate of Lille.
DRAC Hauts-de-France.
Why?
To enrich his general cultural training, with a particular interest in the fields of cinema and audiovisual, and to live alternately time devoted to theory, history, analysis and time devoted to sustained artistic practice.
How?
By following this teaching which has the particularity of being given both by teachers of national education and by professional artists. This teaching is the subject of a permanent evaluation (notation) and results in a baccalaureate examination with a high coefficient.

The objective of the art and essay classification is to support cinemas that exhibit a significant proportion of films recommended art and essay and that support these often difficult films with an adapted animation policy. A reform of the room classification took place in 2002 . It was conducted by associating the FNCF, the SCARE (Syndicat des cinémas d'art, de répertoire et d'essai), theAFCAE, the NRG.

High school students and film apprentices is a school system that is part of the policy of awareness-raising and arts education of young audiences conducted by the Ministry of Culture. It is aimed at pupils in public and private general and vocational schools, agricultural schools and apprenticeship training centres (CFA). In this context, students and apprentices discover cinematographic works during screenings organized especially for them in cinemas. Thanks to the pedagogical work of accompaniment conducted by the teachers and the cultural partners, they constitute the bases of a film culture.

Kindergarten- School and Cinema offers students, from the large kindergarten section to the middle class (fifth grade), to discover cinematographic works during screenings organized especially for them in cinemas. They thus begin, thanks to the pedagogical work of accompaniment led by the teachers and the cultural partners especially the cinemas, an initiation to cinema.

Passeurs d'images is an educational device for the image and the cinema with cultural and social vocation, established in a priority way within the framework of the policy of the city and inscribed in the conventions of development cinematographic and audiovisual concluded between the State, the CNC and the Regions. The national operation extends to all metropolitan areas and overseas and is developed in a logic of partnership with the cinemas, cultural structures, youth and neighbourhood houses, public services, local authorities, charitable or social associations, film professionals, public education federations.
The regional coordinators:
Outdoor screenings of feature-length films (60 minutes or more) are subject to specific regulations, which provide for the granting of an authorization after filing.
The National Cinematography Centre issues the authorizations of these outdoor sessions, after consultation of the regional direction of cultural affairs, relying on a regional committee made up of professionals of the sector, communities.
To apply for permission to host a screening, all applicants must apply online through the NCC website. Only complete applications filed on the platform are considered.
