Focus on BEC
Since 2016, the association Heure Exquise! has engaged in the production of short films highlighting the strength of encounters and dialogue between artists and multiple professionals in charge or in charge of children, adolescents, young adults, etc. engaged in arts education activities on the regional territory.
Every year, Heure Exquise! appeals to several artists of the animated image and invites them to bring their creative gaze to these meetings. They focus more particularly on reporting, in their own way, artistic gestures jointly constructed by the various artists in residence or in the presence of more punctual in the territories, always in connection with local actors multiplying ( teachers, educators, facilitators, mediators, cultural professionals, social action professionals, health professionals, etc ).
The short films made are very diverse. According to their authors, they sometimes favor one of the moments in the process of this joint creation, other times they immediately give to see the result of this collaboration, again they focus on other aspects of this art education in continuous experimentation.
These short films last about 5 to 7 minutes and are intended for three purposes:
- a use of training for actors in arts and cultural education: artistic illustration of the concept of co-construction of artistic gesture, of the deployment of this gesture, of the notion of mediation, of the experimental dissemination action as close as possible to the audiences concerned.
- a use of popularization and valorization of the dynamics in art education developing in the territories and relying on strong artistic presences.
- a more traditional and autonomous use of broadcasting in artistic and cultural events as well as educational events
