October 1 and 2, 2015 at the Conservatoire a rayonnement départemental 43 rue du 11 novembre, Calais

The Regional Days of Archaeology of the North - Pas-de-Calais take place on 1er and 2 October 2015 at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Départemental in Calais (Pas-de-Calais). They are organized by the Direction régionale des affaires culturelles du Nord-Pas-de-Calais, Service régional de l'archéologie, in collaboration with the Service archéologie de la communauté d'agglomération Cap Calaisis - Terre d'Opale.

This year, particular attention is paid to the diversity and richness of the archaeological heritage of the regional coastline. Speakers will present recent archaeological digs, ongoing research programs and some new findings. A large place will also be made to the archaeological news in the region.

This event is an opportunity to meet and exchange with the different actors and institutions of regional archaeology (Service régional de l'archéologie, Institut national de recherches archéologiques préventives, services archéologiques de collectivités territoriales, universitaires, membres du CNRS, opérateurs privés, amateurs).

Scientific publications and extension documents will be available during these days of studies open to all within the limits of the places available.
