The third edition of «La Croisée» took place on November 17, 2022 at the Faïencerie, stage conventionnée of Creil, and on November 18, 2022 at the Manekine, stage intermediate of the Hauts-de-France located in Pont-Saint-Maxence.
Since 2020, La Croisée brings together cultural structures established in the Hauts-de-France and Avignon and gives itself the mission of supporting contemporary creation in the field of live entertainment, in a territorial dynamic.
Every year, La Croisée organizes two days of professional meetings in the South of the Oise to promote meetings between artists and places. Theatre, dance, circus, music, young audiences, street arts, all the aesthetics of the live show are presented, in the form of twenty-five minutes meetings designed for small gatherings of professionals. These meetings are punctuated with representations open to the public but also with blank cards to networks of invited partners.
La Croisée’s programming dynamic aims to reflect the diversity of contemporary creation in all fields. It endeavours to propose projects from Hauts-de-France companies. The selected projects are carried jointly by pairs artist/ direction place of diffusion.
By setting up a co-production assistance for two creative projects, La Croisée is asserting itself as a strong time for national artistic recognition.
It is supported by the Hauts-de-France Regional Directorate for Cultural Affairs, the Hauts-de-France Region and the Oise department.
Hilaire Multon, Regional Director of Cultural Affairs and her teams participated in this third edition to exchange and listen to the actors of the creation and the places of dissemination, whether in terms of creation or in terms of approaches and projects for mediation and cultural action.
