Memories of archaeologists, small stories of regional archaeology develops with the 2020 series of filmed portraits.

In these short videos, archaeologists from the Hauts-de-France region tell us about their concrete experiences, their experiences and their key discoveries in regional archaeology, and tell us about the path and reasons for their commitment to this profession.

The objective of this series of portraits that highlights the profession of archaeologists is to make archaeology known to the public in an original and attractive way. Over the course of these stories, it is also the evolution of regional archaeology that emerges as a watermark. Finally, it is a way to preserve a small part of the oral memory of the highlights of regional archaeology and to pay tribute to the actors of regional archaeology.

These 2020 portraits, whose links you will find below, are all disseminated on the multi-institutional portal of regional archaeology, Nordoc'Archeo.

This year, they are devoted respectively to Yves Roumegoux, Chief Curator at the Ministry of Culture, to Jean-Michel Willot, Archaeologist and Head of Department for Archaeology at the Department of Pas-de-Calais and François Malrain, Research engineer at the National Institute for Preventive Archaeological Research.
