Culture and Health - Disability in the Great East
Within the framework of the national convention "Culture and health" and a regional convention, the Regional Health Agency (ARS) and the Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs (DRAC) Grand Est conduct a policy of development of cultural projects towards patients and caregivers of health and medical-social institutions.
The Ministry of Health and Sport and the Ministry of Culture signed a new “Culture and Health” Convention on May 6, 2010, which aims to bring the Culture “close” to the public in a hospital or medical-and to develop the sharing of experiences between actors.
The target audience includes the entire health community: the hospitalized, the elderly, families, health and social professionals.
A regional variation:
annual call for projects Grand Est
In the Great East, this policy is carried out by the DRAC and the ARS Grand East (Regional Health Agency), within the framework of a regional convention anda regional and annual call for projects “Culture - Health & Disability”.
The objective of this call for projects is to encourage health and medical-social institutions to co-build an artistic and cultural project with cultural professionals (cultural structure, artistic team of all artistic fields), directly related to the needs of people in institutions.
