Grand Est Heritage Recovery Plan
In the Grand Est, the territorialized cultural component of the Economic Recovery Plan for its heritage component amounts to 5.84 million euros.
In order to quickly and sustainably recover the French economy, following the economic crisis related to the Covid-19 pandemic, an exceptional recovery plan is deployed by the Government around 3 main components: ecology, competitiveness and cohesion.
The recovery plan for heritage in the Grand Est
Because the restoration and maintenance of heritage have concrete effects on the economic development, attractiveness and influence of the territories, the recovery plan for heritage is based on two main axes:
- the implementation of a “cathedral plan” ;
- the outstanding supportbeyond the sustainable resources mobilized each year by the State, the restoration of historic monuments belonging to municipalities and private owners.
The Ministry of Culture has selected for each region, on the proposal of the State Services in Regions (DRAC), operations mature enough to be engaged quickly in the year 2021. Learn more about the Recovery Pan in culture.
