Faced with accessibility difficulties and a lack of surface, the municipality of Saint-Brice Courcelles (Marne) decided, in 2017, to launch a project to extend and redevelop the Louis Aragon Media Library, in new premises belonging to the municipality and also housing a nursery school. Equipment inaugurated on September 21, 2019 and made with the support of the State.

With an area of 519 m², the new equipment is located at the centre of an educational, cultural and sports centre in the heart of this town of 3,500 inhabitants.
The architects' project (Borderioux Di Legge de Reims) is part of a sustainable development approach.
Around an interior garden, which also serves as skylights, are distributed the different clear and colorful spaces.

As soon as it opened, the new Louis Aragon media library met with the support of the DIY population.
