Alexis Neviaski assumes the functions of Regional Director of Cultural Affairs of the Greater East Area on an interim basis from 1 Januaryer october 2022.

His journey

Born in 1968, Alexis NEVIASKI studied history before being called up.

After a first experience as an officer in the army, where he commanded a company, he joined the Defence Historical Service as a research officer. It contributes to the classification of funds and provides historical insight to decision makers.

After leaving the National Heritage Institute in 2008, he was appointed curator of the Aubagne Museum, which underwent a profound transformation.

In 2011, he joined the central administration as chargé de mission for cultural operators; as such, he is responsible for the exercise of scientific and technical control over all the collections of the Ministry of Armed Forces.

From 2016 to 2021, he headed the heritage delegation, which defines and implements the cultural policy of this ministry, the second cultural actor of the State.

He is also the author of some 40 scientific articles and co-author of several books.

It integrates the Ministry of Culture, within the DRAC Grand Est, the 1er june 2021.
