The École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Marseille, in partnership with the DRAC de Corse, the Maison de l'Architecture de Corse (MAC) and the city of Calvi are organising a workshop on the theme of the Citadelles on the occasion of the National Architecture Days.

The 7th National Architecture Days will take place on October 14, 15 and 16, 2022. Initiated by the Ministry of Culture in 2016, these days aim to bring together initiatives that contribute to the discovery of architecture and its professions by all audiences. They aim to illustrate the presence of architecture in all territories, whether they are large projects or everyday constructions.

In Calvi, a workshop will be held from 15 to 19 October 2022 on the theme: The citadels, uses and transformations in question. The PACA region and more generally the Mediterranean region are part of the usual experimental ground of the Marseille school. The project themes focused on the existing are extremely broad. To federate the work of students and establish a corpus that needs to be expanded, the theme of reappropriation of citadels in Corsica is the object of study of the studio during 4 semesters.
