In Brittany, on June 3 and 4, nearly 130 parks and gardens will offer about 180 events and animations that will awaken and satisfy the curiosity of all audiences.
Garden music as theme of the 2023 edition
For this twentieth edition coordinated by the Ministry of Culture and each of its regional cultural affairs departments, "Rendez-vous aux jardins" chooses to awaken our senses and makes us (re)discover the richness of our parks and gardens. The theme invites us to consider the art of the garden as an artistic domain in its own right and allows us to make the link between creation and heritage, making the gardens a place of expression just like a concert and performance hall. It also has a poetic dimension that gives free rein to the imagination of everyone in front of the spectacle of nature: songs of birds, sounds of the flow of water, wind in the branches of trees and more generally of nature, music created for and played in the gardens...

Le Piano Voyageur Playful classical music
After travelling throughout France, the Piano Voyageur proudly takes on its Breton colours. Navigating from one repertoire to another, Caroline Faget revisits at the piano a colorful, explosive repertoire that will entertain the little ones, seduce the teenagers and transport the less young in a fabulous nostalgic journey.
Caroline offers an interactive show, full of charm, surprises... and beautiful stories, because each piece, each composer has its little secrets. Caroline will take you to three places in La Roche-Jagu Park for an unusual trip!

The intoxication of colours; at the bottom of the bay of Pellinec
7 ha divided into several themes: exotic gardens, English or austral, iris on stilts, the pond with water lilies, the rhododendron alley and the meadow with magnolias.
Prefecture Garden in Saint-Brieuc
Free visit 3 and 4 June from 14.00 to 16.30. The garden of the prefecture of Côtes-d'Armor, designed by the landscape architect Châtelain in 1826, has retained the charm of the English parks. Century-old oaks and maples rub shoulders with more recently planted softwood, redwood and exotic species.

In Finistère:
Georges Delaselle Garden on Batz Island,
2 and 4 June from 11am to 6pm
Created in 1897, it underwent major work in 2022 and re-opened in April 2023: a guaranteed change of scenery. The exuberance of this garden contrasts with the maritime landscape. Its palm grove has a rare collection of palm trees.

"The Southern Hemisphere in North Finistère": landscape and collection garden. Collection of southern plants and cactus. Outstanding garden label, sponsored by the Garden of Monaco. From the top of the Rocher, the panorama of the bay of Morlaix and the new marina are worth a visit.

Sunday afternoon, 04/06, harpist Catherine Baudichet will perform in the French parterre. A musical break in your walk with Debussy, Satie, Pachelbel, Bach... or the Celtic tradition.
Between 10am and 11am, on Sunday morning 150 vintage vehicles (1917 to 1973) will drive through the park’s aisles.

After five years of closure for works at the request of the architect in charge of the restoration, Le Bois Orcan reopens its doors to the public for the national event, organized by the Ministry of Culture. Malouinière and Gardens classified M.H. and Remarkable Garden. French gardens and romantic gardens overlooking the estuary of the Rance and descending there by 4 successive plans of terraces. Shipyard in the XVIIIeIt was at the Montmarin that some boats from Bougainville were armed.

The Coscro, Historical monument, updated in the first half of the XVIIe presents a spatial organization of buildings and gardens with symmetry and perspective in the tradition of the regular garden of this first classical period.
