This new generation museum will be touring with an exhibition of the Auvergne Regional Contemporary Art Fund (FRAC) until September 22, 2023. On the program: visits, workshops, meetings with children, teachers, facilitators of socio-cultural centers around the exhibition and weaving links with the resources of the territory.
The MuMo (Mobile Museum) was founded by Ingrid Brochard to make contemporary creation accessible to those who are far from it, sharing an artistic and aesthetic experience in the territories.
After a first version installed in a container in 2011, a new travelling museum was created with designer Matali Crasset in 2017, to disseminate the works of the Cnap (National Centre of Plastic Arts) and Frac (Fonds régionaux d'art contemporain) in rural and peri-urban areas.
A third truck-museum is inaugurated in June 2022 in collaboration with the Centre Pompidou and Art Explora, to cross France and Europe.

The MuMo’s 3 action levers:
1. Provide an accessible and unique artistic and aesthetic experience from an early age.
2. Develops new forms of mediation and creative pedagogy.
3. Use our multi-territorial nature to create leverage in arts and cultural education (BEC).

The interior exhibition space is inspired by the cabinet of curiosity. Modular wooden panels allow to exhibit works in the spirit of the cabinet of curiosity. The central module hosts sculptures and books, visitors who wish to use them as a small workbench or sit. The small auditorium is dedicated to the projection of artists' videos. The outdoor area houses workshops of artistic practice and welcomes the work of the children at the end of each stage.
