Live performance
The missions of the live entertainment service concern the implementation of the guidelines of the Ministry of Culture in favour of live entertainment adapted to the context of the region. The main actions carried out in this context are:
- Support to the institutions of the live performance labeled by the Ministry of Culture: Centre national de création musicale, Centre dramatique national, Opéra national en région, Théâtre lyrique d'intérêt national, Orchestre national en région, Centre chorégraphique national, Centre de développement chorégraphique national, National Scene, Contemporary Music Scene, National Circus Pole, National Interest Convention Stage, National Centre for Street and Public Space Arts and National Puppetry Centre.
The 1998 Charter of Public Service Missions remains a reference document for cultural structures
- Support for independent arts teams : help for professional music ensembles - help for choreographic companies - help for dramatic companies [these applications are examined by the DRAC’s dance, music and theatre advisers, and admissible applications are then submitted to the competent advisory board for an opinion];
- Support for music programming ;
- Residency support ;
- Support for higher arts education, vocational integration and arts education ;
- Support for amateur practices and cultural land use planning
- To instruct or monitor applications for training, diplomas, employment, legislation on entertainment;
- Monitoring the application of the law on the teaching of dance;
- To inform on the tests of the State diploma of teacher of music, dance and the diploma of State of theatre teaching;
- Manage applications for licences from show entrepreneurs;
- Monitor requests for the employment of children and foreign artists in the show, in conjunction with the Regional Directorate for Economy, Employment, Labour and Solidarity (DREETS) ;
- Investigate investment files for unclassified organ restoration projects.
