Employment and vocational training
The DRAC Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes:
- is invested in the various bodies responsible for the reflection and management of cultural employment alongside the DIRECCTE (Direction régionale des entreprises, de la consommation, de la concurrence, du travail et de l'emploi)The Ministry of Labour, which is responsible for the State’s employment and vocational training policies.
- actively participates in the work of the Training Objectives Contract which brings together the State, the Regional Council and the representatives of the live entertainment, audiovisual and cinematographic sectors around employment and vocational training issues in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
- reports on and monitors the various national employment policies, such as single integration contracts or alternance training schemes and, alongside partners such as the Pôle emploi or AFDAS, sets up promotion and information schemes for cultural structures or the public.
- also participates, in conjunction with the DRDJSCS (Direction régionale de la jeunesse, des sports et de la cohésion sociale) for the implementation of specific youth employment schemes that concern cultural structures such as civic service.
In addition, the DRAC is the interlocutor of the various actors concerned when a question of labour law specific to the cultural sector or a question of regulation for example: the declaration of activity of entertainment entrepreneur, the employment of foreign artists or children in the performance.
