Guide to urban planning in your municipality
How to welcome people or activities in your municipality, how to make sure that your town centre does not decay, how to carry out qualitative and sustainable development operations? These are the frequently asked questions you submit to us.
«The urban development of your municipality», the fruit of a collaboration between the Departmental Directorate of Territories (DDT), the Council of Architecture, Urban Planning and the Environment (CAUE de l'Ain) and the Departmental Unit of Architecture and Heritage of Ain (UDAP) which has contributed greatly to its realization, proposes to be a practical guide to accompany your initiatives and planning projects in your territory.
This guide is intended to be simple, and is intended to illustrate through examples selected in the department of Ain, project approaches and reflections on issues of development. These three services are at your disposal to share your questions and accompany you throughout your development projects in your municipality.
Five themes are addressed
The theme 1 approaches the revitalization of town centres and will deal with the issue of attractiveness, diversity and animation, essential to life in the heart of the village.
The theme 2 deals with urban renewal and the reception of inhabitants in the centre of the village.
The theme 3 is dedicated to quality urban extensions on architectural, urban and landscape plans.
The theme 4 addresses the issue of small areas of activity, landscape quality and living environment.
The theme 5 offers examples of “public space” landscaping especially within habitat areas.
