As the Festival d'Avignon opens this evening, Roselyne Bachelot-Narquin announces the thaw of artistic creation intervention credits for 2021.

This measure, which represents 20 million euros (out of a total of 28.6 million credits set aside under the 2021 finance law), is in addition to the additional funding already allocated to the various living arts sectors since the beginning of 2021 to address the impact of the health crisis, in particular for companies and artistic teams, creators and authors, as well as the structures of labels and networks that support and accompany them.

Starting this summer, these funds will be used to support the sectors in the recovery phase of activity, which is essential for both the visual and performing arts. In particular, they will reinforce the budgets voted for 2021 by the various structures financed on a permanent basis by the Ministry of Culture as well as the aid for projects.
