Roselyne Bachelot-Narquin, Minister of Culture, wishes to pay tribute to Delphine Demont, whose death she learned with emotion.

Choreographer, dancer, recording artist and artistic director, Delphine Demont was committed to making choreographic art accessible to everyone.

Thus she created the company Mahogany which develops choreographic pieces, workshops and many projects and tools adapted to the visually impaired audience.

In particular, it developed a unique and valuable platform of freely accessible resources on the Internet “Contemporary dance and visual disability”.

His many achievements include those related to ACAJOUET, a tactile kit adapted from the Laban notation, supported by the Fondation de France, the Ministry of Culture, the Fondation Orange and the Coloplast Foundation or the Coffret Giselle, a mini 3D theatre to recreate twenty scenes of this ballet, a project carried out in close collaboration with Wilfride Piollet, former star dancer of the Paris Opera, and with the support of the National Dance Centre.

Roselyne Bachelot-Narquin extends her sincere condolences to her family and loved ones.
