Novelist, poet, essayist, Amos Oz, one of the greatest figures of Israeli literature has just left us.

A man of letters, a man of peace too, his voice carried far beyond all borders. France had made him an Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters more than thirty years ago.  Translated worldwide, International Femina Award for The Black Box In 1988, Amos Oz, master of the short form, incomparable novelist, had in France an audience of very faithful readers.
