For the fourth year, the Ministry of Culture will be present at the International Real Estate Professionals Market (MIPIM) which will be held in Cannes from 13 to 16 March 2018.
The Ministry of Culture offers its stand Architecture (by) France, carried out in partnership with the French architects for export (AFEX), and the National Council of the Order of Architects (CNOA). This stand, as well as the conferences and animations, allow, this year again, to make known internationally the talents of French architects and their know-how.
Jean-Marc Ibos and Myrto Vitart, winners of the 2016 National Grand Prize for Architecture, will be present and will participate in a series of conferences on French know-how of the «Mapping world urbanity», theme of the MIPIM 2018.
The Minister wishes to offer her support to young architects and landscapers, especially to the winners of Albums des jeunes architectes et paysagistes (AJAP). The MIPIM will thus be the opportunity to present the members of the «AJAP Sponsors Club», about fifteen public and private actors who have developed, within their companies or establishments, responsible or innovative strategies in favour of architecture and landscape and which are committed to supporting young professionals of architecture and landscape in their development.
The presence of the Ministry of Culture in major international events such as the MIPIM aims to foster dialogue between the world of architecture and that of construction and development. It affirms France’s ambition for quality architecture and recognizes the importance of the international reach of French expertise in this field.
