On April 21, 2022, the selection committee for the “Innovative Digital Services” call for projects selected the 16 winners of the 2022 edition from among the 81 applications received.
This call for projects supports the experimentation of new digital solutions in the culture sector, and allows innovation actors to achieve a “proof of concept” in partnership with a cultural actor.
For this 5th edition, the selection committee was composed of representatives of all the directorates of the Ministry of Culture and qualified personalities: Mathilde Bras, teacher at Sciences Po Paris, Gilles Freissinier, director of digital development at Arte, Guilhem Pradalié, Director General of MedNum and Naëlle Lefevre, Head of Mission at MedNum, as well as Marion Oudenot-Piton, Head of Tourism Lab Nouvelle-Aquitaine
The 16 companies or associations selected represent the diversity of cultural sectors, from museum heritage to live entertainment and cinema. The proposed projects are aimed at both audiences and professionals and propose various uses of digital technology, such as the use of artificial intelligence to facilitate the collection of data in concert, the use of the semantic web to promote the professional integration of art students or the use of technology for the control of the environmental impacts of cultural events.
The Ministry of Culture welcomes the renewed success of this support mechanism for digital initiatives, which both support the transformation of the cultural offer and support the actors of the sector with high development and innovation potential.
