Rima Abdul Malak, Minister of Culture, in full agreement with Guillaume Le Lay-Felzine, President of the Communauté d'agglomération Paris - Vallée de la Marne and Jean-François Parigi, President of the Departmental Council of Seine-and-Marne, gives its approval to the appointment of Marion Fouilland-Bousquet as director of the Public Institution of Cultural Cooperation, the Ferme du Buisson, national stage of Marne-la-Vallée, on the unanimous proposal of the jury meeting on September 20, 2022.

Marion Fouilland-Bousquet was director of the Narbonne national scene after having been in charge of communication, then of the production office and general secretary of the national scene of Sète, and previously in charge of the production office at Volcan, national scene of Le Havre.

Marion Fouilland-Bousquet proposes a new heading for the Ferme du Buisson, with a place for all in a world in transition, thus placing the national scene at the forefront of social and environmental transformations, alive and hospitable, asserting itself as a driving force of its territory.

Open and generous, his project is part of the history of the place and its relationship to the territory. It is organized around a singular artistic axis combining the performing arts and cinema, with the creation of a festival «Theatre & Cinema».

Marion Fouilland-Bousquet will surround herself with associate artists, favouring collectives rather than individualities. The association with Live Magazine, an interdisciplinary collective of journalists who tell the news in a different way, will allow, in support of a dialogue with the inhabitants of the territory, to nourish curiosity and to fuel the debate of ideas with a large audience.

Finally, the youth will be a priority of his project, with a program dedicated to children and adolescence, including two projects: the mentoring of professionals with young people and the creation of an information and media education program, with Live Magazine, with a goal of social diversity and equal opportunities, for the attention of the colleges and lycées of the territory. Marion Fouilland-Bousquet succeeds Vincent Eches, Director of the Ferme du Buisson since 2011, whose action the Minister would like to commend.
