Roselyne Bachelot-Narquin, Minister of Culture, in agreement with Arnaud Péricard, Mayor of Saint-Germain-en-Laye, approves the appointment of Franck Michaut to the management of SMAC La CLEF (Association pour la Culture, les Loisirs et la Formation), in accordance with the proposal of the jury meeting on 31 May 2021.

Franck Michaut holds a DESS «Management des entreprises culturelles» from Paris Dauphine University and has worked in the phonographic industry. He then quickly joined ADIAM 78 (Departmental Association of Information and Musical Actions) as in charge of current music mission, in which he worked for three years. He was the administrator of the Blues sur Seine festival in Mantes-la-Jolie before joining Arcadi (an associated public institution of the Ile-de-France Regional Council), where he notably participated in the overhaul of the observation policy. In 2011, he became director of the regional network of current music, the RIF. He held this position for seven years before joining SMAC La CLEF as Deputy Director in May 2019.

Franck Michaut proposes to develop transversality and pluridisciplinarity by highlighting diversity and hybridization. His project is part of an approach that integrates cultural rights, sustainable development and popular education. It is fully in line with the label’s missions and requirements in terms of artistic and cultural diversity and takes into account the missions of MJC de La CLEF, by articulating amateur practices, professional practices and support for emergence. Franck Michaut’s perfect knowledge of the Ile-de-France region and the current music sector will be a valuable asset.

Franck Michaut will take up his duties on 1er In November 2021, he will succeed Vincent Rulot, who directed La CLEF for more than 20 years and whose Roselyne Bachelot-Narquin welcomes the development of this historic site in the Ile-de-France region.
