Opening the doors of the Ministry of Culture to all audiences is the ambition of the «Nocturnes of the Ministry of Culture», the cultural event launched on 23 March by Françoise Nyssen, Minister of Culture.
The next edition of Nocturnes, on September 12, 2018, will present dance in all its components and aesthetics in the salons of the Ministry of Culture:
- Performance by Sylvain Groud, director of the CCN Ballet du Nord, accompanied by Pierre-Marie Lapprand, student of the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris (contemporary) ;
- Ruth, a choreography by Saido Lehlouh danced by the students of the Lycée Turgot in Paris, on The Way by Zack Hemsey (hip hop) ;
- Bless-so be IT (excerpts) , a choreography by Bruno Bouché, director of the CCN Ballet de l'Opéra national du Rhin, performed by Alexandre Van Hoorde and Thomas Hinterberger, on the Chaconne in D minor for piano by Johann Sebastian Bach (neoclassical) ;
- Schafe 2.1 (excerpts) , a choreography by Natacha Gourvil, performed by Natacha Gourvil and Marine Stojanowski, on music by Social Silence, a collective formed by former students of the Pôle supérieur d'enseignement artistique Paris Boulogne-Billancourt (PSPBB) (jazz) ;
- Man Rec (excerpts) choreographed and danced by Amala Dianor, with music by Awir Leon (hip hop) ;
- Twenty-seven perspectives (solo excerpt) , a choreography by Maud Le Pladec, director of the Orléans SCC, danced by Régis Badel, on the Unfinished symphony by Franz Schubert (contemporary) ;
- Fata Morgana (extract) , a choreography by Béatrice Massin, performed by Marie Tassin and Rémi Gérard, on music by Paolo Conte and Stéphane Grappelli (baroque) ;
- Dancing, festive and participatory, proposed by Sylvain Groud.
The evening will also be an opportunity to discover three dance films supported by the Ministry of Culture: Movements, directed by Nicolas Habas (proposed by the CCN of Belfort Franche Comté Viadanse and the Eurockéennes), The golden age, directed by Eric Minh Cuong Castaingain, and To Da Bone, directed by Laure Boyer and Edouard Mailaender for the collective (La) Horde.
The «Nocturnes of the Ministry of Culture» are free events open to
all on registration, via social networks (Facebook or Twitter), within the limits of
places available.
