Roselyne Bachelot-Narquin, Minister of Culture, in full agreement with the President of the Public Institution of Cultural Cooperation (EPCC), the Normandy Regional Council and the Cities of Rouen, Petit-Quevilly and Mont-MontSaint-Aignan, has decided to extend until May 2, 2021 the period during which artists can submit their application to the management of the Centre Dramatique National de Normandie-Rouen.

Born in 2014 from the merger of two theatres, the CDN of Normandy-Rouen is one of the youngest in France and the first created as a Public Institution of Cultural Cooperation. It is a decentralized creative hub with a transdisciplinary vocation, capable of producing and disseminating live performances with national and international influence. Following the appointment of David Bobée as head of the Théâtre du Nord, Centre Dramatique National de Lille-Tourcoing, the public authorities have launched a call for applications for the renewal of its management.

With regard to the applications received, the State and local authorities are not in a position to propose a pre-selection that reflects today’s creation in the diversity of its talents.

Convinced that such recruitment must necessarily include the review of a large number of high-quality applications, the partners have chosen to extend the period for sending nomination papers until May 2, 2021.
