On a proposal from the Board of Directors Rima Abdul Malak, Minister of Culture, renews Emilie Delorme as Director of the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris for a term of three years from 1 Januaryer january 2023.

This renewal reflects the quality of her first term in office, during which she allowed the 1,300 CNSMDP students to continue their studies and obtain their diplomas during the health crisis.

Its renewal also demonstrates its commitment to strengthening the Conservatory’s academic excellence and giving it a greater international dimension while opening it up to the professional world: Under his leadership, the CNSMDP has placed 4th in the QS Performing Arts 2022 ranking of the best performing arts educational institutions in the world.

Emilie Delorme’s project for her next term was particularly appreciated by the board of directors. On the one hand, the continuation of the actions it has undertaken, for example in favour of the social responsibility of the institution or its digital transition. But also pedagogical innovation with the creation of a Learning Lab, the structuring of research activity, or the creation of a career office in order to promote professional integration as continuing education.

Emilie Delorme also wants to develop partnerships with the professional world and multiply international collaborations, strengthen its integration in the Grand Etablissement Paris Sciences & Lettres and invest in the project of European University.

Finally, Emilie Delorme wishes to carry out the project of an Augmented Conservatory, whose objective is to be able to accompany the digital transition of the music sector both towards the deployment of new immersive sound and image technologies and towards the needs of pedagogy.
