Roselyne Bachelot-Narquin, Minister of Culture, awards the label centre d'art contemporain d'intérêt national to the association Triangle France – Asteroids located in Marseille.
Participating in the national policy of support for artistic creation, the Centers of Contemporary Art of National Interest play a major role in the professionalization of the visual arts and constitute for the artists a place of experimentation, production and exhibition of their work. Their activities of research and dissemination, of mediation with audiences, contribute to artistic renewal and cultural democratization as well as to the dynamism of the French scene and its international influence.
The award of this label distinguishes the support affirmed by Triangle France – Asteroids to the young French and international scene, the quality of its support for the benefit of artists, in the construction of their professional career and their visibility. A reference point for artistic experimentation and research thanks to its original system of production residencies and international mobility, Triangle France - Asteroids has conquered a unique place in the field of contemporary art and radiates both at the local and regional level and at the national and international level.
This label recognizes the excellence of the work conducted by Triangle France and his team, under the direction and expertise of Céline Kopp.
