Roselyne Bachelot-Narquin, Minister of Culture, designates the Théâtre Brétigny as a stage of national interest, with mention of art and creation.

This designation recognizes the quality of the program of actions developed by the Théâtre Brétigny, particularly in terms of support for artists for their creative work, a wide dissemination of their works and the organization of their presence in the territory allowing a diversification of meetings with the populations. Linked to the project of its director, Sophie Mugnier, this designation is awarded to the Théâtre Brétigny for a period of four years covering the period 2021-2024.

As a participant in the national policy of support for artistic creation, the programme of conventioned scenes of national interest (SCIN) plays an essential role for the presence of artists in the territories, their support and dissemination of their works in national networks, thus contributing to the development and artistic and cultural diversity of the territories.
